Sutton Public Schools offers a full K-12 education experience with appropriate college prep classes and multiple extra-curricular activities. Sutton sits on the Ogallala Aquifer
The Ogallala Aquifer is a vast underground reservoir in an eight-state area of the Great Plains. Approximately 65% of the 3.270 billion acre-feet of water in the aquifer in 1990 was located below Nebraska's rich soil. Nebraska has the most abundant water supplies in the Great Plains Region.

Travel to either of the major Highways only takes 15 minutes from Sutton. Sutton is located on Highway 6, the longest continuous highway in the nation. Travel is possible from Provincetown, MA to Long Beach, California, with Sutton being close to the center of the highway. Highway 6 often referred to the Omaha-Lincoln-Denver (OLD) or Detroit-Lincoln-Denver (DLD) Highway throughout Nebraska began as an economic development tool for businessmen to trade their products over a large geographic area.
